City of Pendleton- Welcome To The Real West!
The Wild West comes alive in Pendleton, Oregon. Nationally famous for its annual Roundup, which began in 1909, Pendleton is an old cow town set in between the steep hills along the Umatilla River in the center of a large ranching and farming area. And true to the Pendleton independent pioneer spirit, the city has launched Solarize Pendleton. This community effort lets homeowners and businesses save money and lead the way for Pendleton’s energy solution!
It is our vision for Pendleton to be a vibrant solar community and be a living example of the opportunities that exist for rural communities. We are making the resources available that will allow you to make informed decisions while pursuing solar
Solarize Pendleton is a City of Pendleton-sponsored project bring solar energy into your home or business by working with residents to overcome the logistical and financial hurdles of going solar. LiveLight Energy
LiveLight Energy of Beaverton, Oregon was founded on the idea that solar should be available to anyone who wants to save energy and save money while saving the planet. Going solar is an investment we can’t afford not to make.
Buying or installing solar on your home or business will not only save you money, but it will return immensely on its investment. It will also help our economy by putting more people back to work and keeping more of our energy dollars working locally instead of being exported to buy unsustainable fossil fuels.
We want to help you get into solar—we have competitive costs and creative approaches that can make it affordable for you.
